Removals Man Truck Driver

Duties Include:

• Driving and Transporting: Safely operate the removal truck to transport furniture, personal belongings, and other items to and from locations.
• Loading and Unloading: Assist with the loading and unloading of items into and from the truck, ensuring they are secured and protected during transit.
• Packing Assistance: Provide assistance with packing and wrapping delicate items to prevent damage during transportation (if required).
• Customer Service: Communicate effectively with customers to provide a positive experience, answering any questions or concerns during the move.
• Route Planning: Plan and navigate the best route for efficient delivery, considering traffic, weather conditions, and delivery schedules.
• Truck Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance checks on the truck, ensuring it is clean, fueled, and in good working condition. Report any mechanical issues to management.
• Safety and Compliance: Follow all road safety regulations and company policies, including loading and unloading practices, vehicle maintenance, and driving laws.
• Teamwork: Work closely with a team of removal staff to ensure efficient and smooth operations during the moving process.
• Paperwork: Complete any necessary paperwork such as delivery notes, inventory lists, and job logs.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From €19.00 per hour
