Remote Pharmacist Independent Prescriber (PIP) – Weight Loss (Paid Per-Case)

Newly launching, modern digital health platform in the UK focused on safe, evidence-based weight management and metabolic health. We partner with leading GPhC-registered dispensing hubs to deliver premium patient care.We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacist Independent Prescriber (PIP) to join our clinical team on a flexible, remote basis.The Role:
Your main responsibility will be the asynchronous review of online medical questionnaires and weight-loss history submitted by patients looking to access GLP-1/GIP treatments (Mounjaro and Wegovy) via our portal.

• 100% Remote: Work from the comfort of your home, utilizing the intuitive, free-to-use Somerx digital prescribing platform.
• Asynchronous Workflow: No face-to-face or telephone consultations required. You review pre-screened client files on your own schedule.
• Flexible Hours: Perfect as a side-hustle alongside your main NHS or community pharmacy role. Spend as little as 2–5 hours a week.

Requirements:

• Active registration as a Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Annotation as an Independent Prescriber (PIP).
• Prior experience or clinical knowledge in weight management, endocrinology, or GLP-1 therapy is highly advantageous but not mandatory.
• Right to work in the UK and valid professional indemnity insurance.

Salary / Compensation:£60.00 – £90.00 per hour equivalent (Paid strictly on a piece-rate basis at £4.00 per approved case).As our pre-screening system filters out ineligible candidates, a standard medical file review takes under a minute, allowing for excellent hourly earning potential on a flexible, remote basis.
