Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for independently assessing, planning, and implementing personalized rehabilitation programs to improve patients' mobility and quality of life.

This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic Patient care first attitude Multidisciplinary (Physiotherapy, Chiropractic Care, Registered Massage Therapist - RMT, Ostepathy, Chiropody And Accupuncturist Care) clinical environment, providing essential patient care across various settings in clinic.

The Physiotherapist will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, ensuring optimal recovery outcomes.

Available to work on Wednesday and Saturday.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions and functional abilities.
  • Independently Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
  • Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other modalities to promote healing and mobility.
  • Work with diverse population WSIB , MVA and EHC patients
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
  • Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, health maintenance, and recovery techniques.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Stay updated on the latest physiotherapy techniques and industry best practices through ongoing professional development.

Skills

  • Proven experience working in Fast paced Clinical settings with acute care patients is highly desirable.
  • Experience working / certification with Pelvic (Rostered), Vestibular Rehab , Concussion or Sports injuries is a plus.
  • Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to treatment.
  • Ability to assess complex cases accurately and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Strong communication skills for explaining procedures and engaging with patients of diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Professional licensure or certification as required by local health authorities.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour
