Job Description
Key responsibilities of a pharmacy technician include
- Processing of prescriptions and adjudicating to third party insurance
- Checking blister packs and refill prescriptions
- Accurate filling and dispensing of prescription medications
- Helping patients picking up medications
- Answering telephones and handling customer requests
- Assisting with cashier responsibilities
Qualifications
- Licensed with BC College of Pharmacists
- Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrated customer service experience
- Proficient computer and data entry skills
- At least 1 year experience as a pharmacy technician required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
