We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our dedicated nursing team at The Poplars Care Centre, a specialist nursing care home in Maidstone, Kent.

About the role

As a Registered Nurse, you'll be a skilled and compassionate clinical lead, responsible not only for the direct care of your residents, but for inspiring and guiding the team around you. This is a role for someone who takes pride in high standards, values meaningful relationships with residents and their families, and wants to grow professionally in a home that will support them to do so.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Taking holistic responsibility for the well-being of your residents, ensuring their physical, emotional and social needs are met with care and dignity
  • Leading, motivating and mentoring your care team, providing clinical guidance and hands-on support
  • Carrying out comprehensive assessments and developing, implementing and evaluating individualised care plans
  • Monitoring care practices and environments to ensure safety, compliance and adherence to relevant legislation and standards
  • Championing residents' independence, choice, dignity and respect in every aspect of care delivery
  • Driving continuous improvement and contributing to the wider development of the home

What we're looking for

  • A valid NMC Pin and current RGN or RMN registration (essential)
  • Experience in a nursing or residential care setting
  • Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills
  • A natural ability to lead, inspire and support a care team
  • Excellent communication skills and a warm, resident-centred approach
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and high standards of care
