The Team & Role

Join a forward-thinking Cardiology research team within the Department of Medicine, where innovation and patient care come together. As a Clinical Research Nurse , you’ll play a key role in a dynamic and evolving research environment, working alongside a highly skilled multidisciplinary team including medical specialists, nurses, research coordinators, and our dedicated research office.

This is a hands-on, impactful role where you’ll lead the coordination and delivery of clinical trials from end to end. You’ll be at the forefront of advancing care—supporting participant recruitment and consent, delivering clinical care, and ensuring high-quality data collection—all in line with ICH GCP guidelines, NHMRC standards, and TGA requirements.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • Demonstrated post-graduate clinical experience relevant to cardiology or acute care
  • Previous experience in clinical research or clinical trials (desirable)
  • Demonstrated research/clinical trial coordination skills
  • Knowledge of and experience working within TGA ICH-GCP Guidelines and relevant regulatory/statutory requirements
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development
  • Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field (e.g. Cardiology or Clinical Research), or working towards (desirable)
