Registered Massage Therapist

Duties

• Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to each client's needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other modalities.
• Conduct client consultations to understand their health concerns and desired outcomes.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized treatment area following health and safety standards.
• Keep detailed records of treatments provided and client progress.
• Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments or wellness plans.
• Ensure excellent customer service by creating a relaxing atmosphere and addressing client questions or concerns professionally.
• Adhere to all licensing, certification, and regulatory requirements related to massage therapy.

• Knowledge of medical terminology related to health conditions and massage therapy benefits.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and ensure client satisfaction.
• Excellent communication skills for effectively explaining treatment options and listening to client needs.
• Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards at all times.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform massages for extended periods while maintaining proper technique.
• Certification or licensing as required by state regulations for massage therapists is preferred but not always mandatory depending on location. Pay: Up to $60,000.00 per year
