Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our vibrant dental team! We are an independently owned, family centered Dental Practice. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional patient care by providing thorough dental cleanings, patient education, and preventive treatments. Your expertise will help promote optimal oral health and create a welcoming environment where patients feel confident and cared for. Duties

  • Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to prevent oral disease.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and personalized care plans to improve their dental health outcomes.
  • Take dental radiographs while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Assist in diagnosing periodontal issues and provide supportive care under the supervision of the dentist.
  • Manage patient records accurately using dental practice management software (Open Dental).
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth clinic operations and exceptional patient experiences.
  • Maintain a clean, sterile environment following all infection control protocols.

Requirements

  • Valid Alberta Provincial licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH).
  • Proven experience in a dental office setting, with knowledge of general dentistry procedures.
  • Familiarity with orthodontics, pediatrics, and dental assisting is highly desirable.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus, especially in serving our multicultural patients.
  • Strong understanding of dental terminology relevant to dentistry and oral health care.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $55.00-$63.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 30.0 per week
