Reporting To: Lead Dentist / Clinic Manager
Location: Dubai, United Arab EmiratesCore Responsibilities
- Chair-Side Assistance: Actively assist dentists during various clinical treatments (e.g., restorative, orthodontic, and cosmetic procedures) by passing instruments, aspirating, and preparing dental materials.
- Infection Control: Adhere to DHA and UAE health regulations by sterilizing and decontaminating dental instruments, equipment, and surfaces.
- Patient Care: Greet patients, prepare them for procedures, explain the treatment steps to ease anxiety, and provide post-operative instructions.
- Clinical Documentation: Record patient medical histories, chart teeth, and assist with EHR (Electronic Health Record) documentation and insurance billing codes.
- Inventory \& Maintenance: Monitor and order dental consumables, and ensure all dental equipment is routinely checked, cleaned, and maintained in working order.
Qualifications \& Requirements
- License: Mandatory DHA License (or Eligibility Letter) to practice in Dubai.
- Education: Degree or Diploma in Dental Nursing, Dental Hygiene, or a related field.
- Experience: Typically3to 5 years of proven outpatient or dental clinic experience in the UAE.
- Skills: Proficiency in infection control protocols, excellent communication in English, and strong patient-handling skills.
- (Note: Arabic proficiency is highly advantageous, and certain polyclinics may require candidates to speak languages like Tagalog depending on their patient demographics).
