OPTICAL SALES ASSOCIATE / OPTOMETRIST RECEPTIONIST (PART-TIME, PERMANENT)

Are you a friendly, fashion-forward professional who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment? Vision Clinic, the largest retail optical in the Niagara / Hamilton Region is seeking a motivated and engaging team member to join our Waterdown location.

This role combines retail optical sales with optometrist reception duties in a fast-paced, fashion-focused environment. You’ll be immersed in the world of designer eyewear, patient care, and a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with eyewear selection and drive sales
• Provide excellent customer service in person and on the phone
• Schedule/confirm appointments and manage patient flow
• Data entry, billing (OHIP/insurance), and payment processing
• General front desk duties (filing, scanning, recalls, etc.)
• Patient pre-testing (training provided)

Qualifications:

• Strong sales and customer service skills
• Friendly, outgoing, and professional
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
• Reliable with strong work ethic
• Retail or optical experience an asset
• Must have reliable transportation
• Professional, fashion-forward appearance

Position Details:

• Part-Time, Permanent 20-30 hours per week
• Includes Saturdays
• Lucrative commission and bonus program available after successful completion of training period
