Receptionist/Esthetician

Overview
We are seeking a passionate, talented, and customer-focused Spa Receptionist \& Esthetician to join our team in Newmarket location. This dual role is ideal for a motivated professional who enjoys both providing hands-on esthetic services and managing front-desk operations. You will play an essential role in delivering exceptional guest experiences while ensuring smooth daily spa operations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the highest level of customer service to all guests.
• Provide a wide range of esthetic services including facials, massage, dermabrasion, body waxing, and esthetic laser treatments (training will be provided).
• Manage client consultations to assess skin conditions and recommend personalized treatment plans aligned with their goals.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, addressing inquiries professionally, and upselling products or additional treatments.
• Conduct product demonstrations and educate clients on skincare routines and retail offerings.
• Assist at the front desk with guest services including appointment bookings, check-ins/outs, and payment processing.
• Work with the team to ensure maximum business efficiency and the best customer experience.
• Maintain strong sanitation practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Great communication skills.
• Great hospitality skills.
• Background in spa industry preferred.
• Great at retail and customer sales.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Good computer skills.
• Valid esthetician certification (laser treatments highly desirable).
• Proven experience in esthetics or med-spa environments.
• Knowledge of social media platforms and social media management tools preferred.
• Available on weekends.

*Training will be provided prior to the start date. Employees are also eligible to earn commission through the sale of esthetic products and the provision of esthetic services.
