We pride ourselves on exceptional member experiences and are looking for a vibrant face to run our front desk. As our Gym Receptionist \& Administrator, you are the heartbeat of our facility. You will be the very first person our members see when they walk through the door and the organized force keeping our daily operations running smoothly. This role balances high-energy customer service with meticulous administrative support.Key Responsibilities

Front-of-House \& Member Experience

  • The Warm Welcome: Greet members and guests, answer inquiries, and manage phone and email correspondence.
  • Sales Support: Conduct gym tours for prospective members, explain membership options, follow up payment enquires and comfortably handle new sign-ups.
  • Point of Sale: Manage transactions for equipment sales, merchandise, casual visits, and beverage orders.

Administration \& Operations

  • Data Management: Maintain and update client profiles, contracts, and payment details in our gym management software, clubworx.
  • Billing Support: Monitor failed payments, follow up on outstanding membership arrears, and handle basic account inquiries.
  • Facility Audit: Ensure the reception, retail area, and gym floor remain impeccably clean, stocked, and presentable throughout your shift.
  • Rostering Assistance: Assist management with coordinating personal trainer schedules and group fitness class bookings.

Skills \& QualificationsRequired:

  • Proven customer service, retail, or reception experience.
  • Strong computer literacy with the ability to quickly learn new software systems.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a naturally warm, engaging personality.
  • High level of reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
  • A current First Aid \& CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain one immediately).

Desirable (But Not Essential):

  • Experience working within the fitness, health, or hospitality industries.
  • Familiarity with specific gym management CRM software.
