SOL Group is seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Quarry Weighbridge Operator to join our team. This is a key role within our quarry operation, acting as the first point of contact for drivers, customers, contractors, and visitors while ensuring accurate recording and management of all site movements and transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the quarry weighbridge system to accurately record all inbound and outbound truck movements and weights.
• Process aggregate sales, cleanfill acceptance, and associated documentation.
• Maintain accurate databases and records relating to truck movements, sales transactions, and site activities.
• Provide customers with transaction summaries, weighbridge reports, and account information as required.
• Welcome drivers, contractors, tradespeople, and visitors to site, ensuring professional and courteous service at all times.
• Conduct site inductions and ensure visitors comply with site health and safety requirements.
• Direct site traffic safely and efficiently.
• Handle customer enquiries, bookings, and general administrative tasks.
• Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly operational reporting requirements.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in an administration, weighbridge, logistics, transport, quarry, or customer service role.
• Strong computer skills and confidence using Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• The ability to multitask and work effectively in a busy operational environment.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service.
