Quality Technician (Measurement \& Testing) - 2nd shift (02:45pm to 11:00pm)

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform various inspection tasks according to the laboratory schedule.
  • Perform dimension measurements of three-coordinate, projector, height gauge, etc. according to the requirements of the drawings and issue reports.
  • Perform dimension measurements of process start-up parts and process inspection parts according to the requirements of the inspection work instructions and feedback the results.
  • Responsible for annual product dimension inspection and reporting.
  • Responsible for the implementation of 5S in the measurement room.
  • Regularly inspect the measuring equipment and monitor the ambient temperature and humidity as required.
  • Promptly escalate any non-conforming items or equipment issues to superiors.
  • Summarize and archive various records and reports.
  • Participate in the annual review of measuring tools and the provision of MSA data.
  • Participate in the acceptance of measurement auxiliary tooling and process inspection tools.
  • Perform any additional tasks as assigned by Reporting Manager.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Materials, or a related field.
  • Candidates with strong relevant experience may be considered without a formal diploma.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in CMM operation.
  • At least 2 years of experience in measuring injection-molded parts.
  • Knowledge of GD\&T and able to quickly read the drawings, understand the measurement requirements and measure according to the drawings.
  • Able to independently write CMM programs and operate three-coordinate measuring machines, and those who know Wenze or Zeiss three-coordinate measuring machines are preferred.
  • Able to use Three-coordinate CMM, FARO joint arm measuring instrument, projector, height gauge, roughness meter, micrometer, plug gauge, etc.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Willing to travel overseas for training as required.
  • Willing to work flexible shifts as required by operational needs.

Pay: $2,500.00 - $3,000.00 per month
