NoSound Acoustics \& Constructions is a growing Melbourne-based commercial construction company delivering projects across Victoria.

We specialise in commercial fit-outs, acoustic installations, architectural finishes, external cladding systems, framing, plastering and general construction works. Our projects range from offices, schools and hospitality venues through to apartment developments, government projects and industrial facilities.

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for experienced tradespeople who want long-term opportunities and the ability to grow with the company.

The Role

We are seeking a skilled Qualified Commercial Carpenter to join our team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and is confident working across multiple areas of construction rather than being limited to one trade discipline.

You will be involved in a wide range of commercial projects including:

• Timber and metal stud framing
• Internal fit-outs
• Suspended ceilings and bulkheads
• Door and hardware installation
• Architectural wall and ceiling finishes
• Acoustic wall and ceiling panel installations
• External cladding systems
• Feature walls and bespoke finishes
• General carpentry and site works
• Working from plans and coordinating with other trades

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Qualified Carpenter
• Minimum 4 years construction experience
• Ability to read and interpret plans
• Strong understanding of commercial construction practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• White Card
• Driver's Licence
• Own hand tools \& power tools
• Reliable, punctual and takes pride in workmanship

Highly Regarded

Experience in any of the following:

• External cladding systems (James Hardie, Cemintel, WPC systems, etc.)
• Commercial fit-outs
• Acoustic wall and ceiling systems
• Timber and metal stud framing
• Suspended ceiling systems
• Plasterboard installation
• Door installation and fit-off
• Leading small teams or supervising work areas

Pay: $32.00 – $48.00 per hour

• Carpentry: 4 years (Required)

Licence/Certification:

• Driver Licence (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 50% (Preferred)
