QC Piping Supervisor

QC Supervisor in a pipe fabrication / oil \& gas / petrochemical environment, the candidate should have strong experience supervising QA/QC inspectors, welding inspection, NDT, dimensional inspection, documentation, and client/TPI coordination.

QC Supervisor – Qualifications \& Requirements

Educational Qualification

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, Welding Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Technical diploma with extensive relevant experience may also be considered.

Experience

• Minimum 8–10 years of QA/QC experience, preferably in:
• Pipe fabrication

Required Technical Knowledge

The candidate should have strong knowledge of:

• Welding inspection and fabrication processes
• WPS/PQR and Welder Qualification Records (WQT/WPQ)
• Material receiving and MTC/MTR verification
• Weld identification and weld mapping
• Visual and dimensional inspection
• NDT coordination and report review
• PWHT requirements and documentation
