QA/QC ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor QA/QC activities in accordance with QatarEnergy standards, project specifications, and applicable international codes.
• Perform inspections and ensure compliance with approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and Quality Procedures.
• Coordinate material inspections, site inspections, and testing activities with clients, consultants, and third-party inspection agencies.
• Prepare, review, and maintain quality documentation, inspection reports, test reports, and quality records.
• Monitor welding, fabrication, installation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with project quality requirements.
• Raise and monitor Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Participate in internal quality audits and support external/client quality audits.
• Ensure all work is executed in compliance with QatarEnergy quality standards and project requirements.
• Coordinate with construction and engineering teams to resolve quality-related issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience in Oil & Gas, Industrial, or EPC projects.
• Mandatory QatarEnergy project experience.
• Strong knowledge of QatarEnergy Quality Requirements, Inspection Procedures, ITPs, Method Statements, and applicable international standards.
• Experience in inspection, material receiving inspection, documentation, NCR management, and quality reporting.
• ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor/Lead Auditor Certification is preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as CSWIP 3.1, BGAS, NACE, or ASNT Level II will be an added advantage, depending on the discipline.
• Must be locally available in Qatar with a valid QID (transferable visa/NOC preferred).
