Job Purpose:
To provide comprehensive QC analytical services ensuring compliance with Company, Customer \& Regulatory Bodies requirements.
To assure the quality of products manufactured / despatched from the site by monitoring and auditing products and processes. To assist line leaders ensuring that line quality checks are being completed correctly.
To provide QC microbiological testing in compliance with Barony requirements.
Key Accountabilities
· Analysis of samples \& products by wet chemical \& instrumental techniques.
· Calculate \& authorise adjustment of out of specification products.
· Ensure operational compliance with procedures manuals.
· Develop new analytical methods and validate.
· Calibration of specified equipment
· Perform audits of finished stock
· Monitor and ensure that line quality checks are being completed correctly.
· Monitor quality standards in production.
· Lead initial problem-solving activities. Escalate where required.
· Support line continuous improvement activities.
· Sampling of raw materials, propellants, mixed batches, and finished products.
· Release or rejection of analysed samples.
· Raising inspection plan within SAP.
· Maintaining reagent \& equipment stocks.
· Analysis of products, componentry and environmental samples using microbiological, wet chemical \& instrumental techniques to approved procedures and within requisite timescales.
· Calibration of all equipment (including when external agents are required) within the required timescales in accordance with approved calibration procedures.
· Standardisation of reagents
· Prepare and quality check all media and test reagents in accordance with manufacturers’ guidelines.
· Maintain all microbiological laboratory cleaning schedules in accordance with the laboratory work instructions and accreditation standards
· Release or rejection of stock based on microbiological results.
· Maintaining reagent \& equipment stocks
