Purchasing @ Logistics Executive is responsible for managing procurement activities, coordinating logistics, monitoring inventory and ensuring timely reporting to support the company's daily operations.
Job Scope:
- Conduct monthly stock checks for all project sites and reconcile any inventory discrepancies.
- Coordinate with Site Supervisors on the delivery, collection, and distribution of materials, equipment, machinery, and tools to ensure timely site operations.
- Prepare Purchase Orders (PO) and ensure all purchases are properly authorized and comply with company procurement procedures.
- Source quotations from suppliers, compare prices and product quality, negotiate the best commercial terms, and recommend cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Monitor the renewal of all company motor vehicle (MV) insurance, road tax, Puspakom inspection and other insurance policies to ensure timely renewal and compliance.
- Monitor Shell fuel card transactions and monthly fuel consumption. Verify fuel usage records and investigate any unusual or excessive fuel consumption.
- Monitor drivers' GPS locations during working hours and prepare or update the drivers' duty roster to ensure efficient deployment and accountability.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain adequate stock for operational requirements. Coordinate replenishment to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly operational reports to Management, including purchasing activities, inventory status, logistics performance, vehicle utilization, fuel consumption, and other assigned reports.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation for all purchasing, logistics and inventory records to ensure accuracy and easy retrieval.
- Perform any ad-hoc duties as instructed by Management from time to time.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Business Administration/Procurement or other related field
- Minimum 2-3 years working experience
- Able to work under pressure and independently
- Possess high level of integrity and discipline
- Responsible, organized \& able to multitask
- Proficient in Microsoft Office \& familiar with SQL system
- Working days: 5.5 days a week (Mon-Sat)
