We are a specialized turnkey signage contractor looking for a high-energy Government Liaison \& Operations Coordinator. This is a critical field-based role that bridges the gap between our internal production team, government authorities, and our clients. The ideal candidate will be a "fixer" who ensures all paperwork, permits, and physical samples move through the approval pipeline without delay.
Key Responsibilities
Government Relations: Manage submissions and follow-ups for permits with authorities such as Dubai Municipality, RTA, Civil Defence, and various Free Zone authorities.
Physical Submissions: Deliver and present pre-production samples, material mock-ups, and shop drawings to clients and consultants for sign-off.
Commercial Support: Handle the physical delivery and tracking of invoices, payment applications, and official project correspondence.
Compliance: Ensure all project documentation meets the specific regulatory standards of the signage and construction industry.
Reporting: Provide daily updates to the Project Manager regarding the status of pending approvals or "stuck" documents.
Requirements \& Qualifications
Experience: 2–5 years of experience in a PRO, Liaison, or Document Controller role. Experience within Signage, General Contracting, Fit-out, or Construction companies is highly preferred.
Language: Professional fluency in "Arabic" and English is mandatory. You must be capable of discussing technical project details and regulatory requirements in both languages.
License: Must have a valid UAE Driver’s License (this is a field-heavy role requiring frequent travel to various departments and sites).
Technical Literacy: Ability to understand material specifications to explain samples to clients or authorities.
Soft Skills: Strong negotiation skills, highly organized, and able to work under the pressure of tight project deadlines with flexible working hours.
