About the Role
As the sole psychologist in the team, you will be based across two sites: Greenlane Clinical Centre and Kahui Marino (Point Chevalier). The role is primarily clinical, where most of the time is client-related, but incorporates clinical education and clinical leadership components relevant to the area of speciality.
About the Team/Service/ Location
Community Rehabilitation (CoRe) team, a specialist, interdisciplinary service for assessment and rehabilitation for adults within Te Toka Tumais Community and Long-Term Conditions Directorate. We are a team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech-language therapists and therapy assistants who provide intensive, evidence-based and individualised rehabilitation, primarily for people discharging from hospital following a recent medical event and significant change in level of function. This can include stroke, functional neurological disorder, other neurological conditions, amputations, and orthopaedic conditions etc. We offer home, clinic, and telehealth appointments tailored to the rehabilitation needs of our clients.
