Responsibilities & Context

The Project Officer (Programme Support) is responsible to ensure all supplies and materials, assistance in financial tracking are provided to the programme and all related programmatic support of child protection programme. This position is also responsible to maintain a good communication with the relevant sector. This position will attend relevant training, workshop, meeting and monitor the warehouse.

  • Support senior project officer and project manager-child protection in developing, and implementing the annual procurement plan,

  • Coordinate evaluation logistics for operations including maintaining necessary lists.

  • Ensure all child protection’s-inputs to be supplied for the programme participants,

  • Coordinate and distribute all materials according to project demand,

  • Generate stock-in and stock out report of all materials, and align with the warehouse,

  • Attend meeting, provide necessary report and monitoring the supplies,

  • Analyze the needs of supplies and materials from the field and make plan to ensure the items are provided for the programme,

  • Knowledge on log sector, supply chain management and safeguarding,

  • Coordinate with relevant organization to ensure the all supplies and materials are received and distributed with gentle manner

  • Ensure all child protection initiatives align with BRAC’s policies and procedures.

  • Ensure the safety of programme participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
