Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District (ISLHD) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Project Management Office (PMO). This is an exciting opportunity to lead strategic initiatives that deliver meaningful improvements for our services, workforce and communities.

Projects span a diverse range of areas, including service design, process improvement, ward decants, and innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Working across the District, the role leads projects from planning through to implementation, partnering with clinical and non-clinical teams to deliver sustainable change and measurable outcomes. Strong project governance, risk and dependency management, and alignment with organisational priorities are central to success.

The position requires the ability to build strong relationships, engage stakeholders effectively, and foster collaboration to support shared ownership and successful project delivery. It also contributes to strengthening project management capability across ISLHD.

We are looking for someone who communicates clearly, builds productive relationships and can manage competing priorities while maintaining a strong focus on outcomes. A practical, organised approach and the ability to support teams through change in a respectful and collaborative way will be highly valued.

Based at our Warrawong office, the role includes travel across the District as required to support project delivery and stakeholder engagement.
