Project Manager – MEP

Project Leadership \& Delivery

• Take full responsibility for the successful delivery of MEP projects from initiation through final handover.
• Ensure all works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and client expectations.
• Deliver projects within the approved scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards while achieving project objectives.

Planning \& Coordination

• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, manpower allocation, and resource plans.
• Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure seamless project execution.
• Facilitate collaboration between design, procurement, and site teams to maintain workflow continuity.
• Attend project meetings and provide timely updates on progress, risks, and key milestones.

Technical Management

• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, technical specifications, and method statements.
• Ensure all MEP installations comply with UAE authority regulations, project specifications, and industry best practices.
• Provide technical leadership and resolve complex engineering and site-related challenges.
• Coordinate the integration of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, firefighting, and ELV systems to avoid conflicts and ensure efficient execution.

Site Operations \& Team Management

• Lead and supervise site engineers, supervisors, foremen, and technical staff to achieve project targets.
• Monitor daily site activities, productivity, and resource utilization.
• Identify and resolve site issues proactively to prevent delays and maintain project momentum.
• Ensure effective coordination between MEP disciplines and other construction trades.

Cost Control \& Procurement

• Oversee procurement planning for MEP materials, equipment, and subcontracted works.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, variations, and resource utilization to ensure commercial efficiency.
• Support quantity surveying and commercial teams with variation orders, claims, and cost assessments.
• Promote cost-effective execution while maintaining quality and project requirements.

Quality, Safety \& Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure all project activities comply with company quality standards, HSE policies, and UAE regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify workmanship and adherence to approved procedures.
• Implement corrective actions promptly to address quality or safety concerns.
• Maintain a culture of continuous compliance and operational excellence across the project team.

Progress Monitoring \& Reporting

• Track project progress against approved schedules and milestones.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports for management, consultants, and clients.
• Identify potential risks, delays, or resource constraints and implement mitigation strategies.
• Maintain accurate project records, documentation, and correspondence throughout the project lifecycle.

Testing, Commissioning \& Handover

• Lead testing, commissioning, and performance verification of all MEP systems.
• Ensure completion of punch-list items and preparation of handover documentation, including O\&M manuals and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate final inspections with clients, consultants, and relevant authorities to achieve successful project closeout.

Qualifications \& Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• 7–10 years of proven UAE experience in MEP project management.
• Strong experience in villa, residential, and high-end construction projects is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical, and ELV systems.
• Thorough understanding of UAE authority regulations, approvals, and compliance requirements.
• Strong leadership, planning, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and perform effectively under pressure.
• UAE Driving License is preferred.
