Overview
We are seeking a trustworthy and highly organised Project Manager to lead and coordinate infrastructure projects in a Manchester city centre retail shop.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive complex management build, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards. As a key member of our team, you will oversee project planning, execution, and stakeholder communication, fostering collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to achieve outstanding results. You will be working along side a Project Director and managing day to day operations.
Your expertise in project management tools and civil engineering software will be instrumental in steering projects toward success while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will already have a SMSTS qualification.
Duties
- Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of civil infrastructure projects. Be the main key holder managing day-to-day build teams access and responsible for keys.
- Coordinate with design teams utilizing 3D images to develop accurate site layouts, build locations, and designs.
- Manage project timelines effectively through expert time management skills, balancing multiple priorities seamlessly.
- Monitor project progress regularly, adjusting schedules and resources as needed to meet milestones and objectives.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals.
- Oversee compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout all phases of construction.
- Prepare detailed reports on project status, risks, and issues to inform stakeholders and facilitate decision-making.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing infrastructure or civil engineering projects in a fast-paced environment.
- SMSTS card or equivalent to run a building site and be the main key holder.
- Strong knowledge of 3D for designing and reviewing retail build engineering plans.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines. Experience with SketchUp would be a huge advantage.
- Exceptional communication skills for coordinating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Relevant degree or certification in Civil Engineering or Project Management is preferred.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
