Job Description

The IT Software Project Manager is accountable for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of software projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in line with defined requirements. This role bridges business needs and technical execution while maintaining high-quality standards and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Establish project scope, goals, timelines, and required resources
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams including developers, QA engineers, and analysts
  • Serve as the key liaison between stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication
  • Track project milestones, monitor performance, and proactively address risks and issues
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards, policies, and quality benchmarks
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports and project updates to stakeholders

Qualifications \& Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in managing IT or software development projects
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering software projects
  • Professional certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, etc.) are considered a plus
  • Arabic speaking is mandatory

  • Effective problem-solving and risk assessment capabilities
  • Solid planning, budgeting, and organizational skills
  • Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, or equivalent
