The IT Software Project Manager is accountable for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of software projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in line with defined requirements. This role bridges business needs and technical execution while maintaining high-quality standards and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Establish project scope, goals, timelines, and required resources
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams including developers, QA engineers, and analysts
- Serve as the key liaison between stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication
- Track project milestones, monitor performance, and proactively address risks and issues
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards, policies, and quality benchmarks
- Prepare and present regular progress reports and project updates to stakeholders
Qualifications \& Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in managing IT or software development projects
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall
- Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering software projects
- Professional certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, etc.) are considered a plus
- Arabic speaking is mandatory
