Project Engineer - Swimming Pool Experience

Project Planning \& Execution

• Support the Project Manager in planning and delivering landscaping, swimming pool, and water feature projects from start to finish.
• Help ensure that all work is completed according to approved drawings, project specifications, and agreed timelines.
• Monitor day-to-day progress, track milestones, and assist in resolving issues that could affect project delivery.
• Coordinate site mobilization, execution, testing, and final handover activities.

Site Supervision \& Coordination

• Oversee site engineers, supervisors, foremen, subcontractors, and labour teams to ensure work is progressing efficiently.
• Coordinate civil, MEP, irrigation, landscaping, and pool construction activities to avoid conflicts and delays.
• Ensure manpower, materials, and equipment are available and utilized effectively.
• Address site challenges promptly and work with relevant teams to keep the project on schedule.

Technical Support

• Review drawings, BOQs, material submittals, and method statements before execution.
• Liaise with consultants, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth coordination.
• Provide technical assistance to site teams and help resolve engineering-related issues.
• Attend site meetings and support inspections, approvals, and project coordination activities.

Swimming Pool \& Water Feature Works

• Assist in supervising the construction of swimming pools, pump rooms, filtration systems, fountains, waterfalls, and other water features.
• Coordinate the installation of pumps, pipelines, lighting, drainage systems, and associated equipment.
• Support testing and commissioning activities to ensure systems operate as designed before handover.

Landscaping \& Civil Works

• Monitor hardscape and softscape activities, including paving, kerbstones, pathways, planting, turfing, and irrigation works.
• Supervise excavation, grading, drainage, and other civil works required for landscape development.
• Ensure all installations meet approved drawings and project quality standards.

Quality \& Safety

• Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality and workmanship standards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and UAE regulations.
• Encourage safe working practices and assist in identifying and addressing potential site hazards.

Cost Control \& Procurement

• Support quantity take-offs, material requests, and procurement planning.
• Track material usage and coordinate deliveries to avoid project delays.
• Assist in monitoring project costs and subcontractor progress.

Reporting \& Documentation

• Prepare daily and weekly site updates and progress reports.
• Maintain project records, inspection reports, approvals, and correspondence.
• Assist in preparing as-built documentation and handover files upon project completion.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of UAE experience in landscaping, swimming pool, water feature, or construction projects.
• Good understanding of civil works, irrigation systems, MEP coordination, and landscape execution.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, BOQs, and technical documents.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is an advantage.
• UAE Driving License is preferred.

Pay: From AED1.00 per month
