The role of a Project Engineer is to support the Project Manager and be responsible for the oversight
of most major aspects of construction work, including organizing the acquisition of materials,
equipment, and workers, planning for costs, and supporting the Project Manager and Superintendent
on various tasks.
- Coordinate with architects, designers, local authorities, clients, sub-
contractors and field personnel.
- Responsible for generating Requests for Information (RFIs) and submittals.
- May be responsible for bid analysis, constructability reviews, and permit
processing.
- Inspect all work to assure compliance with plans and specifications.
- Offer technical information to project supervisor to ensure work complies
with applicable codes, drawings, and specifications.
- Have a general understanding of project budget and assist with procurement
activities.
- Monitor and track project quality control metrics and activities on a regular
basis, provide timely and accurate Daily Production Reports (DPR), and
raise issues to PM or Superintendent as necessary.
- Plan and organize construction meeting with related project stakeholders.
- Generate project punch list and closeout report.
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
