What this job involves:
The Project Controls and Reporting Manager will lead project reporting, governance, performance monitoring, and customer-facing reporting activities for the project, ensuring accurate, timely, and insightful information is provided to the client leadership, project stakeholders, and the end customer.
As the project enters the construction phase, this role will become the focal point for managing extensive customer reporting requirements, executive dashboards, KPI tracking, and project performance reporting.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Reporting \& Governance
Client Site representee for project updates
Manage weekly, monthly, and executive-level project reports. extracted from GC reports (and others including but not limited to Steel Structure, LLEs, Site Supervision, etc.)
Develop and maintain project dashboards and KPI scorecards.
Prepare governance packs for management and steering committee meetings.
Ensure consistency and accuracy of project reporting.
Other activities as directed by client
Client \& Stakeholder Reporting
Coordinate and manage customer reporting requirements.
Consolidate project information from all stakeholders.
Support executive reviews and customer meetings.
Respond to ad hoc reporting and performance information requests.
Performance Management
Monitor project progress, schedule, milestones, risks, and KPIs.
Identify trends and provide early warning indicators.
Support project recovery and performance improvement initiatives.
Provide meaningful performance analysis and recommendations.
Data \& Dashboard Management
Consolidate information from planning, engineering, procurement, construction, and commercial teams.
Maintain reporting tools and performance dashboards.
Support reporting automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Desired or preferred experience and technical skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Outstanding communication and presentation skills
Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
Strong understanding of construction means and methods
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
10+ years of experience in Project Controls, PMO, or Project Reporting.
Experience on large-scale construction, infrastructure, or data center projects.
Previous PMC and client-facing reporting experience.
Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in Power BI, Primavera P6, Excel, and PowerPoint.
