Job Title: Production Technician

Department : Production

Report to : Production Manager

(Additional Reports) Operations Director, Cell Lead

Location: Shannon

Job Purpose : To ensure batches are manufactured in accordance with the relevant SOP and to agreed targets to meet all planning requirements

Key Responsibilities :

• Manufacture of batches in accordance with their SOPs including filling, capping and labelling where required
• Maintain excellent housekeeping standards, in accordance with the 6S programme
• Carry out equipment checks and calibrations as per schedule
• Liaise with support staff on materials requirement
• Ensure all health and safety standards are complied with
• Troubleshooting production issues and work closely with/communicate with colleagues in QC and planning to ensure demand requirements are met within the allocated time frame
• Be available for upskilling and cross-training where required
• Contribute to functional and cross-functional teams as required
• Any other duties as may be assigned by the Production Manager, Operations Director or a member of the management team

Experience, Knowledge and Qualifications required for Job:

Knowledge :

• Good Laboratory Practice
• ISO17025
• ISO9001
• Chemistry
• Good understanding of batch manufacture
• ISO17034

Qualifications :

3rd level science qualification, preferably in Chemistry

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €35,000.00-€37,000.00 per year
