Production Pharmacist

Manpower

1. To manage the manpower in production in order to meet the schedule.

2. Arrangement of manpower, ensure discipline and control of manpower to ensure smooth operation and

3. production process.

4. To provide training to production personnel and ensuring all production personnel are trained.

5. To ensure that the production records are evaluated and signed by an authorized person.

6. To ensure that the required initial and continuing training of the department personnel is carried out and

7. adapted according to need.

8. To review, monitor and evaluate the production personnel under your care.

Product Quality

1. To ensure the quality of product is in accordance with the specification.

2. To review and feedback if there is any improvement needed for the process of manufacturing.

3. To ensure that products are produced, stored according to the appropriate documentation and monitor storage

4. conditions for materials and product in order to obtain or maintain the required quality.

5. To inspect, investigate and take samples in order to monitor factors which may affect product quality.

Yield/Output

1. To manage \& monitor production process and output, ensure that it is in accordance to planning.

2. To ensure the yield of the product is in accordance with company’s expectation.

3. To ensure that any deviation of the production is resolved.

Compliances

1. To ensure all products, in process materials, production facilities and process are in accordance to codes of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirement through proper monitoring procedures, effective training program and up to date documentations.

2. To monitor drugs manufacturing activities and ensure company is always in compliance with the latest PICS \& GMP guideline.

3. Handling of poison and controlled item, ensuring that it has a complete record and physical tallies with record.

4. To ensure that company is always updated with the latest guideline required.

5. Review and make recommendation for improvement in area of manufacturing processes, safety, environment, sanitation and hygiene.

6. To approve the instruction relating to production operations and to ensure their strict implementation.

7. To ensure the qualification and maintenance of his department, premises and equipment.

8. To ensure that the appropriate validations are conducted timely and accordingly.

9. To ensure all GMP quality related record are kept properly.

10. To approve BMR and other production related documents.

Trouble Shooting

1. Monitor Performance of products, operations and equipment against standard, promptly attend to changes and deviations.

2. Responsible for all aspects of product development activities, which include upgrading of product quality, formulation, process validation, and machines troubleshooting

Others

1 Any other production related duties that may be assigned by management as occasions arise.

2 Ensure Departmental operation, equipment, utilities and facilities complies to cGMP, safety and health, local city council and other relevant authorities reqirements.

3 Involved in approving and monitoring of suppliers of materials, contract manufactures and providers of other GMP related outsourced activities.

4 To participate in management reviews of process performance, product quality and of the pharmaceutical Quality System and advocating continual improvement.

5 To ensure timely and effective communication and escalation process to raise quality issues to management

Knowledge/Skills/Experience

1 Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy.

2 Good command of English, computer literacy and good team player.

3 Good management skill, Good trouble shooting skill
