Production Operator

Job Overview

• Responsible for the production and/or packaging of a variety of manufactured and semi-finished products

• To support several areas of manufacturing, including but not limited to; printing, slitting, blown film and quality

• To ensure all packing works are carried out in accordance to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Amcor’s safety requirements.

• Packing tasks to be completed with minimum waste and shortest time

· Perform production duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, labeling operations and sorting

· Move product and inventory using a pallet truck

· Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the foreman

· Execute and document quality inspections per SOP

· Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations

· Perform related duties as required by foreman

· Ensure that finished goods are wrapped in accordance of wrapping instruction in the SOP

· Ensure goods are packed in time for delivery to customers

· Liaise closely with warehouse on the delivery and shipment of goods

· Preparing of pallet label

Knowledge and Experience

• Min (1) year of experience in the manufacturing environment
• Understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions
• Effectively communicate information and respond to questions from various levels within the organization
• Possess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
• Perform basic visual quality inspections on products
• Maintain the production pace of other team members
• Must be certified or become certified in operation of forklift
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Meticulous, proactive, good team player and highly committed

Education and Certifications

Min secondary school or any other relevant qualifications

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1,400.00 - $2,300.00 per month
