We are seeking an experienced Production Manager – Joinery to oversee and manage all production activities within the joinery factory. The candidate will be responsible for planning, supervising, and improving manufacturing operations while ensuring quality standards, timely project delivery, cost control, and workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day joinery production operations within the factory.
- Plan production schedules according to project deadlines and priorities.
- Coordinate with project managers, design teams, procurement, and installation teams.
- Supervise carpenters, machine operators, painters, polishers, and production staff.
- Ensure production targets and quality standards are achieved.
- Monitor material usage and minimize wastage.
- Ensure proper maintenance and utilization of machinery and equipment.
- Conduct production meetings and provide regular progress updates to management.
- Implement health and safety procedures within the factory.
- Resolve production-related issues and improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor manpower productivity and optimize workflow.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and UAE industry standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering, Wood Technology, Production Management, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of UAE experience in joinery production/manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of joinery materials, woodworking machinery, and production processes.
- Experience handling high-end interior fit-out and custom joinery projects.
- Ability to read technical drawings and production plans.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in production planning and reporting.
- Knowledge of quality control and HSE standards.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in factory management and workflow optimization.
- Familiarity with CNC machines and modern joinery production systems.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
