Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate production Cut Lists based on approved shop drawings.
Analyze drawings and optimize material usage to minimize waste.
Calculate quantities and dimensions for all wood components.
Coordinate with the production team to ensure smooth manufacturing.
Select appropriate board sizes and material specifications.
Review technical drawings before production and identify any issues.
Ensure all cut lists are accurate and production-ready.
Work closely with designers, engineers, and factory supervisors.
Requirements:
Previous experience in woodworking, cabinetry, joinery, or furniture manufacturing.
Excellent understanding of wood materials, board sizes, and production processes.
Ability to read and interpret technical/shop drawings.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience with AutoCAD, Poly board, SketchUp and Microsoft Excel is preferred.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
