Product Photography \& Digital Content Intern
Location: Glen Cove, New York (Onsite) \| Part-Time: 8–10 hours/week \| Internship
About the Role
We're a growing consumer brand looking for a creative college student with a sharp eye for product photography and a genuine interest in how great imagery drives brand perception. This internship puts you in the middle of real production — shooting products, editing images, and creating digital content that shows up in places people actually see.
This isn't a coffee-and-spreadsheets internship. You'll be building a portfolio while doing work that matters.
What you'll do
- Photograph products in a studio and lifestyle settings, working with props, lighting setups, and backgrounds- Edit and retouch images in Photoshop and Lightroom to meet brand standards- Help develop and produce short-form digital content for social media and e-commerce- Organize and maintain a clean digital asset library- Collaborate with the marketing team on seasonal campaigns and product launches- Assist with creative briefs and mood board development
About you
- Currently enrolled in a college program — Photography, Graphic Design, Digital Media, Marketing, or related field- You know your way around a DSLR or mirrorless camera and aren't afraid of manual settings- Comfortable with Adobe Photoshop and/or Lightroom- Strong visual instincts — you notice when something looks off- Organized, reliable, and able to hit a deadline without hand-holding- A portfolio or sample work is a big plus (personal projects, class work, social accounts — all count)
Nice to have
- Experience shooting flat lays or product-specific photography- Familiarity with video or Reels-style content- Basic knowledge of e-commerce image specs and requirements
