About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Product Owner to lead the functional evolution and delivery of solutions within a Data and Analytics environment.

You will act as the link between business and IT, transforming complex stakeholder needs into clear requirements, actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and a well-prioritized product backlog.

This opportunity is ideal for a Product Owner who combines strong Agile product-management capabilities with practical knowledge of data, analytics, data warehouses, Power BI, and data modeling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and clarify requirements with multiple business and technical stakeholders;
  • Translate business needs into clear and actionable user stories;
  • Define detailed and testable acceptance criteria;
  • Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog;
  • Lead functional backlog refinement sessions;
  • Support sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies;
  • Align priorities with business value, technical dependencies, risks, and delivery capacity;
  • Collaborate closely with data, analytics, engineering, BI, QA, and business teams;
  • Provide functional support throughout the delivery lifecycle;
  • Monitor requirements through development, testing, and acceptance;
  • Coordinate or support User Acceptance Testing;
  • Validate completed deliverables against business requirements and acceptance criteria;
  • Organize and maintain functional and product documentation;
  • Communicate product objectives, priorities, decisions, and progress to stakeholders;
  • Identify requirement gaps, dependencies, and potential delivery risks;
  • Promote continuous improvement in product and Agile practices.

Essential Requirements

  • At least 3 years of professional experience as a Product Owner, Project Manager, or in a closely related product-delivery role;
  • An advanced Product Owner certification:
  • PSPO II – Professional Scrum Product Owner II; or
  • A-CSPO – Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner;
  • Proven experience gathering and clarifying requirements with multiple stakeholders;
  • Strong experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria;
  • Experience managing, prioritizing, and refining product backlogs;
  • Practical experience supporting Agile ceremonies;
  • Ability to follow requirements through development, testing, acceptance, and delivery;
  • Experience validating completed solutions against functional and business expectations;
  • Strong communication skills with business and IT stakeholders;
  • Professional experience in Data, Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Data Warehouse environments;
  • Understanding of data-modeling concepts, including tables, relationships, and data structures;
  • Familiarity with Power BI or comparable BI and reporting platforms;
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher;
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Practical experience with Databricks;
  • Experience working with data engineering or analytics teams;
  • Understanding of dimensional modeling and relational data models;
  • Familiarity with data pipelines, ETL/ELT, data lakes, or lakehouse architectures;
  • Experience with Power BI dashboards, datasets, and semantic models;
  • Experience coordinating User Acceptance Testing;
  • Knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, or scaled Agile environments;
  • Experience managing products with technical dependencies and multiple data sources;
  • Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar product-management tools;
  • Experience working in international or multidisciplinary environments.

  • Build effective relationships across business and IT teams;
