As a Product Owner – Data Acquisition Securities in the Securities Data Acquisition team, you will manage the end-to-end delivery of data solutions that support financial and regulatory reporting. You will work closely with business and technology partners to ensure data is accurate, complete, and consistent. You will help drive the evolution of our integrated data and reporting strategy, enabling business, finance, risk, and regulatory requirements. Job responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
  • Write business requirements as user stories to enhance data, reporting automation, and analytics tools.
  • Collaborate with development teams to translate business needs into technical specifications and ensure acceptance criteria are met.
  • Prioritize the backlog of user stories for delivery, aligning with deployment schedules.
  • Partner with lines of business to understand products and strategically source data into cloud-based big data architecture.
  • Work with implementation leads, release managers, project managers, and data SMEs to understand asset class data and source system flows.
  • Coordinate and deliver results across multiple teams and interdependencies.
  • Use SQL or Data Bricks to query and interact with large volumes of data.
  • Lead and influence partner teams, building strong relationships.
  • Handle ad-hoc requests as assigned.
  • Communicate effectively with various audiences.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5 years of related experience.
  • Experience working with large volumes of data across multiple products.
  • Experience with Agile delivery.
  • Strong desktop skills, especially in Excel.
  • Proficiency in querying data using SQL or Data Bricks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lead, influence, and build relationships with partner teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage concurrent workstreams.
  • Detail-oriented, highly responsible, and able to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a risk mindset.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in financial services or regulatory reporting.
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
  • Ability to quickly learn and assimilate business and technical knowledge.
  • Knowledge and experience of trading products, including Derivatives and Securities.
