About the Roles
Product Operations Manager (IT Systems) role based in Thomson, operating on a 5-day work week (Mon–Fri, 8:30 AM–6:00 PM and Fri 8:30 AM–5:30 PM) under a 1-year contract arrangement. This position offers a structured corporate environment with a competitive base salary and completion bonus, supporting enterprise IT operations across security, compliance, vendor management, and product coordination activities in a consulting setting.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Oversee end-to-end security patching and vulnerability management across multiple enterprise systems, including deadline tracking, vendor coordination, and scheduled security reviews
- Monitor production support tickets, track resolution progress, maintain proper documentation, and escalate high-impact incidents when necessary
- Conduct and coordinate routine compliance activities such as access reviews, privileged account checks, risk register updates, script validations, and role-based access reviews
- Coordinate with vendors on security and technical matters, including arranging discussions, aligning timelines, reviewing resource proposals, and tracking follow-through actions
- Manage system-related administrative tracking including contract renewals, resource allocation, certificate renewals, utilisation monitoring, and inventory updates
- Support product operations tasks such as backlog refinement, roadmap milestone tracking, UAT coordination, release documentation, and stakeholder communications
- Maintain accurate operational records, identify potential risks early, follow up on outstanding action items, and keep stakeholders informed on progress
- Organise and facilitate recurring meetings with internal teams and external vendors to ensure alignment and timely closure of open issues
- Analyse support ticket trends and stakeholder feedback to identify improvement opportunities and contribute to backlog enhancements
What We’re Looking For
- Background in IT operations, systems management, product operations, or a related discipline
- Experience in security compliance and governance practices, including patch management, access reviews, audit support, and risk tracking within enterprise environments
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams, monitor deadlines, and independently drive deliverables to completion
- Experience collaborating with application vendors, infrastructure vendors, and internal technical teams on operational, system, or security-related matters
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with sound judgment in issue escalation and independent problem-solving
- Familiarity with enterprise systems, middleware environments, cloud platforms, and IT audit processes will be advantageous
- Exposure to product management activities such as backlog management, roadmap tracking, UAT coordination, and release planning will be an advantage
- Experience in regulated, compliance-driven, or large enterprise environments will be an advantage
