About the Role

We’re looking for a Product Management – Payments, Lead to join our team. In this role, you will translate product strategy into execution through ownership of product delivery, customer experience enhancements, platform improvements, and operational optimization initiatives. Working closely with Product, Engineering, Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Design teams, you will drive the successful delivery of payments capabilities while ensuring solutions are scalable, compliant, customer-centric, and aligned with business objectives. The role serves as the day-to-day product leader for assigned payment products and capabilities, managing product roadmaps, delivery priorities, user experience improvements, process enhancements, and stakeholder alignment to achieve measurable customer, operational, and business outcomes.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the day-to-day management and execution of assigned payments product roadmaps and enhancement initiatives.
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlogs.
  • Lead product discovery, requirements gathering, solution design, testing, launch planning, and post-launch optimization activities.
  • Partner with Engineering and Technology teams to deliver scalable, secure, and customer-focused product capabilities.
  • Lead customer experience and user experience initiatives across payments products and digital journeys.
  • Drive UI/UX enhancements that simplify user interactions, reduce friction, and improve customer outcomes.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance operational efficiency, scalability, quality, and customer experience.
  • Ensure product enhancements and delivery activities align with applicable regulatory, compliance, governance, and risk management requirements.
  • Build strong working relationships across Product, Engineering, Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Commercial teams.
  • Present roadmap updates, delivery status, risks, and recommendations to leadership and governance forums.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of product management experience within payments, fintech, financial services, SaaS, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering complex digital products and technology-enabled solutions.
  • Experience working closely with Engineering, Technology, Product, and Design teams.
  • Experience translating business requirements into product requirements, user stories, and delivery plans.
  • Experience working within regulated environments and supporting compliance-driven product initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Agile product development methodologies and delivery frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within payments ecosystems including issuing, acquiring, processing, embedded finance, or digital payments.
  • Experience leading customer experience, UI/UX, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience supporting operational process improvement and business transformation programs.
  • Experience working with compliance, risk management, audit, or governance functions.

Location

Current Location: Toronto. Our office will move to 1 Adelaide in Toronto in September 2026.

The hiring base salary range for this position is $99,200 - $136,400 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
