Procurement Engineer – Telecom, Instrumentation \& Control
Location: Kuwait

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage procurement activities for instruments, analyzers, control panels, automation systems, and telecom/network equipment.
- Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to approved suppliers.
- Obtain supplier clarifications and compile commercial comparisons against approved technical requirements.
- Coordinate technical evaluations with Engineering teams.
- Support commercial negotiations and purchase orders under the direction of the Supply Chain Manager.
- Review supplier quotations, technical documents, and compliance with project requirements.
- Expedite supplier documentation, manufacturing, inspections, shipping, and deliveries.
- Monitor procurement schedules and ensure timely delivery of project materials and equipment.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier communications, and tracking reports.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Projects, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to resolve procurement issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Control, or Telecommunications Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Engineering Procurement.
- Minimum 3 years of experience handling Telecom, Instrumentation, or Control packages.
- Proven experience in procurement of industrial instruments, automation systems, or telecom packages.
- Strong experience in quotation evaluation, commercial comparison, and supplier expediting.
- Ability to read and understand technical datasheets and system architectures.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and ERP skills.
- Good commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
- Strong English communication and supplier coordination skills.
- Experience purchasing specialist equipment and expediting project deliveries is required.
