Procurement Engineer – Process, Water, Wastewater \& MEP
Location: Kuwait

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage procurement activities for pumps, valves, piping, tanks, chemical-dosing equipment, and MEP packages.
- Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to approved suppliers.
- Obtain supplier clarifications and prepare commercial comparisons against approved specifications.
- Coordinate technical evaluations with Engineering teams.
- Support supplier negotiations and purchase orders under the direction of the Supply Chain Manager.
- Review supplier quotations, technical documents, and compliance with project requirements.
- Expedite supplier drawings, manufacturing, inspections, and deliveries.
- Monitor procurement schedules and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier communications, and tracking reports.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Projects, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to resolve procurement issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical/Process Engineering, or a relevant Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Engineering Procurement.
- Minimum 3 years of experience handling Water, Process, Wastewater, or MEP packages.
- Proven experience in procurement of water/wastewater treatment equipment or MEP materials.
- Strong experience in pump, valve, piping, or treatment-equipment procurement.
- Experience in quotation comparison, technical evaluation coordination, and supplier expediting.
- Ability to read and understand equipment datasheets, material schedules, and process drawings.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and ERP skills.
- Good commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
- Strong English communication and supplier coordination skills.
- Experience in expediting project deliveries is required.
