Procurement Coordinator

Who You Are:

You are an exceptional procurement coordinator who has experience in sourcing, and coordinating post sale logistics.

About the Role:

• Prepare and submit customer quotations.
• Expedite orders and follow-up on open orders to ensure they arrive on time.
• Notify customers of the delivery schedule and order status.
• Create, maintain, and manage business partner data in SAP.
• Create, maintain and manage inventory data in SAP.
• Enter and expedite orders.
• Maintain accurate and updated records and notes on sales opportunities, quotes, and orders and attach the relevant correspondence and documents to SAP.
• When applicable or required, inspect the goods to ensure order accuracy and quality.
• Follow-up on an ongoing basis until goods are shipped and delivered.
• Attend and participate in meetings and provide status of ongoing orders.
• Provide incoming call coverage as required.
• Provide back up for peers as required.
• Resolve problems, delivery issues, warranty issues, returns and customer complaints.
• All other duties as assigned.

Preferred Experience:

• Post-secondary education.
• 2 years’ experience in sales of industrial supplies.
• Experience using SAP (or another ERP) would be considered an asset.
