About The Position

The Procurement Specialist part of Regional HQ, responsible for designing, building, and leading the procurement function that powers our culinary excellence across multiple states. This role owns the end-to-end procurement strategy, establishing the infrastructure, systems, and standards that site procurement teams follow throughout the region. They architect vendor partnerships, drive supply chain performance, and ensure our culinary teams have access to the highest-quality products at competitive costs.

Working within a globally defined procurement framework and in close collaboration with local managers, this position ensures alignment with company-wide strategies, processes, KPIs, and systems while addressing regional operational needs.

Job status: Full time Monday to Friday (40h a week)

Gross monthly salary: 18 000 RON

Essential Functions:

Strategic Sourcing \& Vendor Management

• Develop and execute regional procurement strategy aligned with culinary standards and business objectives
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors who meet Yarzin-Sella’s quality, sustainability, and service expectations
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with local and regional suppliers
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key vendors, distributors, and specialty purveyors
• Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and manage accountability to service level agreements
• Can support local operations in managing delivery issues, credits, billing discrepancies, and service follow-up

Cost Management \& Financial Performance

• Analyze purchasing data to identify savings opportunities and cost variances
• Help to monitor procurement budgets across the region, contribute to the food cost optimization
• Partner with culinary and operations leaders to align menu planning with cost targets
• Establish controls and approval workflows to ensure purchasing compliance
• Support commercial negotiations by preparing price comparisons, benchmarks, and market insights

Supply Chain Operations

• Implement inventory management best practices to minimize waste and optimize par levels
• Monitor market conditions, commodity pricing, and supply risks; develop contingency plans accordingly
• Anticipate and mitigate regional risks related to supply, quality, logistics, and pricing that could impact operations

Procurement Systems \& Data Management

• Maintain accurate supplier catalogs, SKUs, pricing, and contracts within the procurement system
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and timely updates according to global standards
• Support and guide internal users in correct system usage and procurement processes
• Analyze procurement data including spend, pricing trends, supplier comparisons, and usage patterns
• Share insights and recommendations with Regional HQ to support strategic decision-making

Mobilization \& New Site Support

• Lead procurement planning and execution for new site openings and client transitions
• Establish vendor networks, distribution channels, and supply agreements in new markets
• Develop site-specific purchasing guides and startup inventory lists
• Support equipment procurement and smallwares sourcing for mobilizations
• Partner with culinary leadership to source specialty and local products for new menus

Cross-Functional Partnership

• Serve as a strategic partner to Executive Chefs and Operational Managers,
• During budget periods, collaborate with Regional Manager and Finance on forecasting, reporting, and cost analysis
• Support client proposals and RFPs with procurement data, sustainability initiatives, and cost modelling. Assist in drafting, distributing, and analyzing requests for proposals for food, beverage, and logistics services
• Conduct regular meetings with local managers to strengthen communication, operational understanding, and supplier performance

Requirements

Skills \& Qualifications:

• Proven experience building procurement departments, developing teams, and creating scalable processes
• Hands-on expertise negotiating contracts and solving complex supply chain challenges
• Strong leadership presence, with the ability to influence across the organization
• Operational depth to drive multi-site environment

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or IT/Systems Management. Open to recent graduates.
• Languages: Fluent English required; Romanian or another major European language is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Comfortable with data systems; advanced Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) for building RFP scoring grids and analyzing supplier bids.
