Job Title: Process \& Equipment Technician (Dicing)
Location: Penang, Malaysia
Job Summary
Responsible for supporting and maintaining semiconductor dicing processes and equipment to ensure production targets, quality requirements, and machine uptime are achieved. The technician will perform machine setup, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and process monitoring for wafer dicing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, set up, and monitor wafer dicing machines according to production requirements.
- Perform machine troubleshooting and corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Conduct preventive maintenance (PM) and routine equipment checks.
- Monitor process parameters and ensure product quality meets specifications.
- Support process improvement and yield enhancement activities.
- Perform machine qualification and process validation after maintenance or setup changes.
- Analyze equipment issues and escalate major problems to engineers when required.
- Maintain production records, machine logs, and maintenance reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and ESD requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and equipment performance.
Requirements
- Diploma, Certificate, or Technical Qualification in Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
- Experience in wafer dicing, wafer singulation, or back-end semiconductor processes is preferred.
- Knowledge of dicing equipment, blade management, alignment, and process control.
- Familiar with troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Able to work on rotating shifts when required.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Fresh graduates with relevant technical knowledge are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with dicing equipment such as Disco, ADT, or equivalent systems.
- Understanding of SPC, FMEA, 5S, and Lean Manufacturing.
- Knowledge of semiconductor assembly and test processes.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and production systems).

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM4,200.00 per month
