Key Responsibilities:
Process Development \& Optimization
- Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
- Design and maintain process flow diagrams, production layouts, and manufacturing work instructions.
- Establish process control plans, monitoring systems, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.
- Conduct process validation and ensure process capability before production release.
Capacity Planning \& Productivity Improvement
- Develop capacity models and production planning strategies to meet customer demand.
- Conduct time studies, method studies, and work measurement to improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor production performance, cycle time, labor utilization, and equipment capacity.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve throughput and productivity.
- Drive cost reduction and manufacturing efficiency improvement initiatives.
Production Engineering Support
- Provide technical support and guidance to Process Technicians, Production Supervisors, and Operators.
- Lead the implementation, commissioning, and qualification of new production processes and equipment.
- Support troubleshooting of process-related issues to minimize downtime and improve yield.
- Collaborate with Maintenance, Production, Quality, and Planning teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
Quality \& Compliance
- Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with ISO standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
- Ensure proper implementation of ESD, MSD, cleanliness, and process control requirements for electronic components.
- Support internal audits, customer audits, and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities.
- Review and maintain engineering documentation, process specifications, and work instructions.
Continuous Improvement
- Lead Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive yield improvement, waste reduction, and process optimization projects.
- Apply structured problem-solving tools such as 8D, Fishbone, 5 Why, FMEA, SPC, and DOE.
- Monitor process performance using KPIs and recommend improvement actions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Production, Quality, NPI, Maintenance, Planning, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
- Support customer visits, technical reviews, and engineering discussions.
- Participate in new product introduction (NPI), product transfer, and engineering change activities.

Job Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in: Electrical Engineering/Electronic Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Mechatronics Engineering/Electromechanical Engineering Or equivalent engineering discipline
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Process Engineering within an electronics manufacturing or EMS environment.
- Experience in SMT manufacturing is an added advantage.
- Experience in process development, capacity planning, and continuous improvement projects is preferred.
- Fresh graduates with outstanding academic achievements may be considered for junior engineering positions.
Technical Competencies
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, process optimization, and industrial engineering principles.
- Familiar with capacity planning, line balancing, time study, and work measurement techniques.
- Knowledge of ESD, MSD, IPC standards, ISO 9001, and quality management systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC, DOE, and 8D methodologies is an advantage.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM8,000.69 per month
