Private Teacher cum Nanny / Babysitter

We are seeking a dedicated, experienced Private Teacher \& Nanny to guide a child's educational development, daily routine, and overall well-being within an office setting. This position is strictly focused on childcare, learning, and companionship—no domestic or housekeeping duties are required.

Core Care \& Routine Management

1. Maintain a structured daily routine covering naps, feeding schedules, diaper changes, and hygiene.

2. Prepare age-appropriate infant meals (formula, breastmilk handling, or solid food purees/finger foods).

3. Sanitize and maintain baby gear, bottles, and immediate play/care areas within the office space.

4. Ensure a safe, child-proofed, and quiet environment suitable for an infant within an office setting.

Early Childhood Learning \& Development

1. Lead age-appropriate sensory play, tummy time, motor skill exercises, and language exposure (singing, reading, talking).

2. Track and nurture foundational developmental milestones (visual tracking, sitting, crawling, early speech sounds).

3. Plan gentle indoor exploration and quiet sensory activities to encourage curiosity and cognitive growth.

4. Companionship, Safety \& Well-BeingProvide warm, attentive, and responsive one-on-one care to support emotional bonding and secure attachment.

5. Monitor health, growth, and mood daily, maintaining clear communication with the parents regarding nap times, feeding logs, and milestone progress.

6. Maintain strict infant safety standards, including infant CPR readiness and safe sleep practices.

Office Environment Adaptability

1. Soothe and manage infant fussiness efficiently to maintain a calm, professional atmosphere in the workplace.

2. Seamlessly coordinate care schedules around the parents' work meetings and office commitments.

Requirements

1. Diploma Early Childhood Education or equivalent.

2. Minimum 1 years of teaching experience in a kindergarten (Tadika) or childcare centre (Taska).

3. Good understanding of early childhood development and age-appropriate learning activities.

4. Passionate about working with children.

5. Patient, caring, responsible and trustworthy.

6. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

7. Able to work independently and follow the family's established routines and instructions.

Note: This is a non-residential, office-based role focused exclusively on one-on-one care for a single infant. The position requires attendance at the employer's office during standard business hours only; no stay-in or overnight care is required.

Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
