Principal UX/UI Product Architect

Job Overview

A Writer Once Again Digital is seeking an experienced and visionary Principal UX/UI Product Architect to lead the design strategy and user experience architecture of our digital products. This senior leadership role combines product thinking, user-centered design, information architecture, and cross-functional collaboration to create exceptional digital experiences that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with deep expertise in UX/UI design, product architecture, design systems, and modern digital product development.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and lead the overall UX/UI vision, strategy, and product architecture across multiple digital platforms.
• Design intuitive user journeys, workflows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces.
• Establish and maintain scalable design systems, component libraries, and UX standards.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, stakeholders, and executive leadership.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and data-driven design evaluations.
• Champion accessibility, usability, and responsive design best practices.
• Mentor and guide designers while fostering a culture of innovation and design excellence.
• Translate business requirements into elegant, user-focused digital solutions.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, AI-driven experiences, and industry trends to improve product offerings.

QualificationsRequired

• Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Product Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 8+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, product design, or digital product architecture.
• Proven experience leading complex digital product initiatives from concept to launch.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating strategic UX thinking and polished UI execution.
• Expertise with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or similar design tools.
• Deep understanding of design systems, user research methodologies, and information architecture.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred

• Experience working with SaaS, enterprise software, AI-powered products, or digital publishing platforms.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience managing or mentoring design teams.
• Familiarity with Agile and product-led development environments.
