Primary & 11+ Tutors – South London In-person pay starting from £40 per hour

Kamakala Kids House is expanding its tutor team. We’re looking for knowledgeable, engaging and reliable tutors to support pupils from age 4 through to A Level, with a particular emphasis on primary Maths and English and 11+ entrance exam preparation.

We welcome applications from tutors specialising in particular age groups or subjects- you do not need to teach across the full range.

About the role

In-person lessons take place in pupils’ homes across Dulwich, Herne Hill and surrounding South London areas. Online tutoring opportunities may also be available.

You will plan and deliver lessons tailored to each pupil, build their confidence and provide clear feedback to parents.

We’re looking for tutors who:

• Have relevant teaching or tutoring experience.
• Adapt lessons to different needs and learning styles.
• Are warm, patient and engaging.
• Communicate professionally with parents.
• Are organised, reliable and able to commit to regular lessons.

Experience in primary education or 11+ preparation is particularly welcome.

Pay and availability

In-person pay starts from £40 per hour, negotiable depending on your experience. Please include your availability for after-school, weekend and online lessons.

Lesson allocations depend on suitable client matches; hours are not guaranteed.
