Preschool-3rd Grade Sports Teacher — NOW HIRING

We are seeking energetic, reliable, and enthusiastic Preschool/Elementary Sports \& Fitness Coaches/Teachers who love and have experience working with young children. Coaches travel to multiple locations and lead age‑appropriate sports and movement classes using the curriculum.

This is a year‑round position.
Current need is weekday mornings (9:00-11:30 AM) afternoons (2:30-5:00 PM), with the opportunity to grow into additional hours.

Schedule

• Part-time
• Typical class blocks may include:
• 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM
• 2:30 PM – 5:00 PM
• Weekday availability required

• ✅ Can commit to weekday morning and afternoon availability

Responsibilities

• Deliver sports \& fitness classes following provided lesson plans
• Create a fun, positive, and inclusive environment for every child
• Arrive early and prepared for each class with all equipment
• Safely lead children in activities including running, jumping, stretching, push-ups, and sit-ups
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and school staff
• Maintain equipment and set up signage/banners at class locations
• Ensure child safety and follow all policies and procedures
• Work collaboratively with the Director/Head Coach and team
• Serve as a positive role model physically, emotionally, and socially

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children ages 2–10 (teaching, coaching, childcare, camps, or enrichment programs) 3 years of experience minimum.
• Experience playing or coaching sports (recreational, school, volunteer, or paid)
• Physically able to:
• Carry 15–20 lb equipment bags
• Lead active movement-based classes
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license (travel between locations required)
• Dependable, punctual, professional, and high-energy

Required Clearances \& Certifications

• Fingerprint background check (per State Child Care guidelines)
• TB test (current year)
• Copy of immunization records
• Mandated Reporter Training
• CPR Certification

We serve multiple partner schools and centers across the Seattle Metro Area, including:

Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, Issaquah, Mercer Island, New Castle, Bothell, Lynnwood, Edmonds and Woodinville.
