1. Job Title

Pool Foreman – Swimming Pool Department

2. Reports To

Swimming Pool Engineer / Operations Manager

3. Job Purpose

The Pool Foreman oversees day‑to‑day site activities related to swimming pool construction, renovation, waterproofing, tiling, MEP installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance.
This role ensures that all work is executed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications, quality standards, and timelines.

4. Key ResponsibilitiesSite Execution \& Supervision

  • Lead and supervise pool technicians, masons, helpers, and subcontractors on site.
  • Ensure proper execution of pool construction activities including excavation, rebar, formwork, concrete, waterproofing, tiling, plumbing, and electrical works.
  • Coordinate with engineers to interpret drawings, specifications, and method statements.
  • Monitor daily progress and ensure tasks are completed within schedule.

Quality Control

  • Inspect workmanship to ensure compliance with project standards and client requirements.
  • Verify correct materials, tools, and equipment are used on site.
  • Identify defects or deviations and take corrective action immediately.

Safety \& Compliance

  • Enforce safety rules and ensure all workers follow PPE and site safety protocols.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and daily safety briefings.
  • Report incidents, near misses, and hazards to the Safety Officer/Engineer.

Coordination \& Communication

  • Liaise with Project Engineers, Swimming Pool Engineer, and other departments for smooth workflow.
  • Coordinate material requests, deliveries, and equipment needs.
  • Maintain clear communication with team members and subcontractors.

Documentation \& Reporting

  • Maintain daily site reports, manpower allocation, and progress logs.
  • Track material usage and report shortages or wastage.
  • Assist in preparing inspection requests (IRs) and ensure readiness for consultant/client inspections.

Testing \& Commissioning

  • Supervise pressure testing, leak detection, pump installation, filtration system setup, and electrical connections.
  • Support engineers during commissioning and handover stages.

5. Qualifications \& Experience

  • Minimum 5+ years experience in swimming pool construction or MEP/civil site supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of pool systems: filtration, pumps, plumbing, waterproofing, tiling, and finishing.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Experience managing teams on construction sites.

  • Physically fit to supervise and inspect work across the site.
  • Willingness to work extended hours when required.
